Yorkshire Memorial Services:

HALINA KING
Hello! I'm your web guide to Yorkshire Memorial Services:

I come from the lovely Pontefract village of South Elmsall,Yorkshire, which is situated out in the countryside somewhere in the middle of Barnsley, Castleford, Doncaster and Wakefield, so it is not always easy for my Family and Friends to get out here.

And I have come to realise, over time, that it is hard, sometimes near impossible even, for all of my extended Family and Friends to be able visit the gravesides of my own Mother and Father; this is due to a variety of reasons, such as illnesses, disabilities and living too far away.

If my family, and friends, have problems being able to visit gravesides, then it is likely that other families have similar problems; this is where an Online Memorial can help; it can be visited and viewed by all of your Family and Friends 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

This free service from Yorkshire Memorial Services, is a lasting memorial to help you all to remember and to commemorate your Loved Ones; it helps you to express your feelings about a loved one, by lighting an Everlasting Candle, writing an Eulogy and displaying a Photo.

To visit a Family Member, or Friend, select their name from the drop down list:

My Yorkshire Website

Yorkshire Memorial Services offers a type of memorial that serves as a focus for memory of a person who has died; popular forms of memorials include landmark objects or art objects such as sculptures, statues or fountains and even entire parks; the most common type of memorial is the gravestone or the memorial plaque; also common are war memorials commemorating those who have died in wars; memorials in the form of a cross are called intending crosses; online memorials and tributes are becoming increasingly popular especially with the increase in natural burial where the laying of gravestones, or memorial plaques, is often not permitted; online tributes and memorials create a way for family and friends from various countries to interact and share memories and photographs; this is becoming more and more popular as it provides a private space that can be easily reflected upon at any time; when somebody has died, the family may request that a memorial gift, usually money, be given to a designated charity, or that a tree be planted in memory of the person.
